Inspection Overview

A professional home inspection gives you an independent, unbiased view of any problems and their solutions, so that you will have all the facts you need to make a sound, informed decision.

Depending on the size and condition of the home, a thorough home inspection will take no more than four hours, usually between an hour and a half and three hours. Ideally, you will accompany me during the consultation, so that you will have visual reinforcement of my report.

I take my inspection reports seriously. Every inspection is a complete and thorough analysis of all the major systems and components in the home. Available via email, fax, or hand-delivered within the same business day, my reports include extensive digital photography, easy-to-read graphics, and comprehensive coverage of every system in your home. Structural Systems - foundation, crawl space, grading, roof & attic, interior/exterior walls, doors, windows, fireplace & chimney

Electrical Systems - breaker panel, outlets, wall switches, lighting, ground fault protectors

Heating & Air Conditioning Systems - operational check, gas leak check

Plumbing - fixtures, drains, vents, water heating system

Appliances - dishwasher, stove/cook top, kitchen exhaust, disposal, microwave
